The Patriot Sprint Tour will be making their first visit since 2014 to McKean County Raceway this Thursday night for a $4000 to win and $325 to start sprint spectacular for the ultra fast wing warriors. MCR CAMPING FOR WoO SHOW

All Camping will be down in turn 1-2 in the lower parking lot of the fairgrounds.   The main parking lot will be used solely for parking.  Additional parking will be at the Keating township parking lot and field.   We are waiting to hear back if the baseball field parking lot will be available and the field across adjacent to the track (across from trailer park off turn 1-2) will be available.

CAMPING … THERE are limited hookups available and there will be a $10 charge for camping.  You can arrive Sunday to start camping.  Please note if needed we will use that area for additional parking if needed as we expect one of the largest crowds in track history on June 20th for the WoO Late Models.

MCR CANCELLED TONIGHT MAY 25

Due to the rain we have received overnight and still continuing for the next 4 to 5 hours we are forced to cancel tonight’s event.

Standing water throughout the grounds and in pit area just making it too soggy. We need sun wind and warmer temps later today after it stops raining to have a chance to run.

We will look for a makeup date for this event.

At this time our next event will be on Tuesday June 20 for the Craftsman World Of Outlaws Late Model Series $10,000 to win Hamlin Lake 50

The Spring Classic wristbands for $2 off will he honored at the June 29 Patriot Sprint Car night.

THURSDAY NIGHT THUNDER AT MCR ON MAY 25

McKean County Raceway in East Smethport, PA roars back to life with the first Thursday Night Thunder program of the year. The 6 star program featuring the RUSH Crate Late Models, RUSH Pro Emods, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, Mini Stocks and Mandy’s Young Guns will be on the card with a 730pm start time. Continue reading

McKean County Raceway opens 2017 season with Blair collecting two feature wins!

Under cool but dry conditions McKean County Raceway initiated their 2017 season with the Jim and Mike Duffy Memorial Spring Classic for the Super Late Models. When the checkers fell it was Max Blair in Victory Lane after leading the entire distance from the pole position. Blair also proved victorious in the Little Power Shop RUSH Crate Late Model feature, taking the lead at lap four of the twenty lap distance. Continue reading
